Opinion Question on F/D Headsets at DVinfo.net

I'm looking at purchasing this http://www.eartec.com/td902_video.html

But when I was thinking of event videography, the ambient noise protection would be keen, so eartec suggested replacing the slim headsets with two of the ultradoubles listed here http://www.eartec.com/ultra.html#ultra

But this takes the price for the package from 390.00 to 600.00. I was wondering if anyone just had an opinion. There's only one other manufacture of this stuff that I know of, PDY, but their offerings didn't look like they were made very well.

I'm open to suggestions.
