Greetings/ audio help
Greetings all. I'm hoping someone out there can give me a little advice about audio. I just got a Sony GL2 and would like to do a couple of interviews this weekend. I would like to see about getting an external mic, perferably a clip on. Any quick solutions? Things to avoid? I could get the adapters and use a standard three pin stick mic and cable. Thoughts?

Hmmm, Sony must have bought Canon... the GL2 is made by Canon, my friend!
Why not check out the Audio section, there's tons of help on your questions. Just do a topic search on keywords like "GL2 microphone". Just one advice: stay away from consumer microphones! There's got to be a pro audio store (at least a Guitar Center) in Des Moines, pay them a visit. |

You could browse the private classifieds section here, and see what is in your price range.
