Iriver 895 Sync Issue
Hello,
I recently recorder a event where I used a iriver 895, vx2000, and vx2100. The iriver was used to capture the entire event. When I attempted to sync the audio from the two cams and the iriver the iriver's audio would not sync with the two cams audio. My question is: Is this common or is there a setting on the iriver that I need to set prior to recording? Btw, I use Vegas 6 as my video editor. Thanks, Troy |

Was the recorder synchronized to the camera(s) in any way? If not it would not be uncommon to expect the three pieces of equipment (2 cameras and recorder) to drift apart by a frame or 2 over 2.5 hours. This can be compensted for by stretching or compressing the audio as required in a DAW equipped to do this.

I would expect around 10 to 15 frames drift in 2.5 hours would be normal. |

I think there is some kind of voice activated option in the iriver setup menu. It should be off. If it recorded everything, but there were no pauses between the speeches, this might be the problem.
