Monitoring for a 5.1 Dolby Digital mix
How do you mix in Dolby Digital, if the dynamics are affected by the encoding? At least on my system, the encoded AC3 does not sound exactly the same as what I hear in the editor. I presume this is due to dynamic range compression. How should I deal with this?
