No Audio in After Effects
Not sure if this is the right place for this post but here goes anyway.
I have started to experiment with After Effects (6.5) but am pretty sure I am missing something fundamental. The reason is that whatever audio I use in a composition all I get is silence. I've tried volume level, different audio formats but nada. In the project list of imported files I can preview the audio no problems. It's just when it's part of a composition. Pre-rendered or rendered it's the same deal. Any ideas appreciated Thanks |

See if the audio switch is turned on for each layer that has audio. Its all the way to the left of the timeline just to the right of the "eye". You probably won't hear anything until you do a RAM preview.

Also, when you "add to render queue" be sure to click on the settings. At the bottom of the very large sub window you will find the audio might be greyed out until you select the export settings.
