Sennheiser 112PG2 or 122PG2

Hey guys, I was just wondering if anybody out there would be able to give some info on which of these two mics would be best for my purchase. The only difference appears to be one is omni and the other is cardioid. I mainly film weddings and interviewing the couples so with that any advise would be great!

Go with the omni. Cardioid lavaliers are good for noisy environments and avoiding feedback in sound reinforcment gigs but they require the talent to limit their head movement to avoid going off-mic. Omnis will be much better suited to your application with the people you're micing and background noise isn't going to be a big issue.
