Have you looked at Adobe Audition 2.0? It integrates very, very well with the other products of the Adobe Production Studio

Aanarav,
Audition 1.0 was so far from what I needed for audio production that I didn't hold out much. I am probably ugrading my entire Adobe suite, so I will have it, but my plan is to go with Sonar primarily. |

don't overlook logic pro
check out logic pro, it leaves qbase standing, I got my copy from eBay still in its wrapper for $450
