Tensimount: Another Homemade Boompole Option
Let me start by saying I have absolutely no affiliation with this company at all whatsoever. Secondly, I am aware of this company because many folks into audience recording use their shock mounts because they are inexpensive, they work, and they can handle a wide variety of mic sizes.
Anyway, I was surpised to see that no one on these boards has ever posted about this boom pole option (I did a search), so I thought I'd share because this seems like a great option for the DIY boompole crowd. Basically, Tensimount makes two kinds of "Boompole Kits" that are essentially just a shock mount kit that can be easily attached to a painters pole. You can check it out here: http://www.tensimount.com P.S. I thought about adding this to the other DIY thread, but it seemed worthy of it's own thread for archiving/searching reasons. |
