FLAC audio codec and the Mac
Self confessed Mac-Challenged PC editor seeks help from the macintosh community:

I prefer Xact 1.5.3 or FLACER 1.1 a bit buggy for my Cowon M3 20 GB its good Audio with SONY in ear white for 55 $. I use the highest Quality Settings.
Core Audio have some expensive HP Ipaq PDA Recorder Player wich sound real highend but 700$ |

werner, are you able to encode and decode .wav files on a Macintosh computer using FLAC?
