if i want to mic a person that i am shooting full body in front of a green screen ... and the move around but not more than a few feet ...

should I go wireless, go with a shotgun, or do something else?

Thanks,

Wireless is not an issue, unless by wireless you mean a lavalier?

Likewise, what they are standing in front of is not an issue, the acoustics of the room could be an issue. Or are you shooting outside?

I would use some kind of directional mic (shotgun, hypercardioid?) on a boom if I had someone to manage it for me in a quiet space. But if environment was more noisy, I would use a lav.
