Making indoor dialog sound like it's outdoors
Is there any way to make dialog recorded inside (with a slight echo from the walls) sound like it was recorded outside? I shot a scene recently on a set that I built in my house. The dialog clearly sounds like it was shot inside. Is there anyway to remove the slight echo and make it sound like it was shot in a wide open space? Basically removing the echo, I think.
Thank You, Bryan Mitchell |

You can attempt to remove some of the echo, but it will definitely sound processed and not "right." The human ear is incredibly perceptive...

Theoretically you could ADR it (re-record the audio) but it's probably not worth doing.
