Time Code & Camera For Concert Video

Total Newbie Question: I want to videotape some concerts that are also being recorded onto 24 track digital audio. Naturally, I want to use the mixed-down digital audio in place of the camera's recorded audio. What is the lowest cost camera setup for being able to sync my video with the audio in Premiere?

Cameras I have looked at in my price range don't allow external time code--like the XL2 or the HDR-FX1. Is there a low cost option? How do film makers sync up their XL2s to the audio recorder?
