Opinions on JBL Control 1 monitors?
Hey everyone,
Just wondering what you think of the JBL Control 1 monitors as budget monitors? I'd get a subwoofer with them as well. I had a pair, but they are not very accurate, and best used for checking how your mix sounds on consumer gear. I compared them to a pair of Edirol MA-15D and these powered speakers where better and more vesatile.
I ended up using the JBL's in the kitchen, and finally sold them to a friend, who's using them in his bar. Maybe a set of M-Audio LX4 would suit you better. They are a powered 2.1 system.
