audio deliverable for Hallmark channel
A movie I mixed is being picked up by Hallmark channel for cable. The only information they gave the producer was they want a "Pro Res LT 442 with split audio." I have a 5.1 mix, stereo mix, stems, M&E, and LTRT.
Can anybody tell me exactly what they mean by "split audio"? Its a new term to me. Thanks. |

Ironic really considering many of their movies were mono optical - wanting clever deliverables makes me smile a bit.

Re: audio deliverable for Hallmark channel
Split channel used to mean, dialog and M&E = 'Dialog' on one channel, 'music and S/FX' on the other, but that was quite a few years ago.. prior to ATSC A/85 and EBU R128.

Re: audio deliverable for Hallmark channel
Have you sent a message back to Hallmark to ask them to clarify?
