The new Rode NTG5 shotgun.
There’s many shotguns out there today, it’s like a war zone.
But the new Rode NTG5 is smaller lighter than most other pro. units, and less expensive. With some sloppy editing at the start, here’s an interesting demo of the NTG5 features compared to some other shotguns ... And as Henry Ford used to say, you can have any colour as long as it’s black. Cheers.

Most of us know what mic. patterns look like.
But what do they sound like, the white noise tests are interesting. Start at 7.42 in. Cheers.

The shotgun pick up pattern is not on the drawings though, to compare to the others.
