It shows how much post production needs to go into a wildlife production. Sometimes one would have to totally abandon the ambience from the camera and re-record the ambience when it sounds right..you can even create your own ambiences Larry ...I have a brilliant package called "Atmosphere" which creates background ambiences from preset clips including bird calls, weather and general outdoor sounds ...try it it might just work for you. They have a free "lite" version too to play with
