Time code frame rate for 60i?
Can someone confirm that the frame rate on a SoundDevices recorder should be set at 29.97 fps if recording at 48kHz?

IME this is a mine field. I wouldn't take anybody's word for it.
I would perform the experiment on the actual equipment. If the camera is shooting 60i, Why would the sound recorder be told that it is 29.97? |

There is no setting for 60i. It stops at 30. I always thought that 60 fps is in reality 59.94. Half of that is 29.97.

Re: Time code frame rate for 60i?
60i is indeed 29.97 frames per second. The 60 refers to 60 fields, rounded up from actual 59.94 fields. Two fields make a frame. So 59.94 fields = 29.97 frames.
Thanks
