What lapel is this...

Ok, so I've been trying to find a dual lav solution and I see this rig on Foxnews all the time.

I'm not sure what it is. I've even contacted BH and they have little to offer that fits this bill.

Re: What lapel is this...

What mics do 'you' have. Some folks rig up there own dual mounts. The mics pictured appear to be COS11s. Sanken has dual mounts available for those, as do most pro lavaliere manufacturers. B&H is a big-box store and IMO, any specific inquires are better directed to the 'usual suspect' shops, most of which will match the big-box store price as well. That said, B&H is a good source of gear if you know what you want and has a selection of generic mounts, including single and dual cable-clip types that would work with most lavs (except the B6 fishing line size cable).

Re: What lapel is this...

A year ago I tried hard to find a system that would work with my sennheiser lavs, but the mount I ordered from BH didn't work well. I reached out to sennheiser and they told me they didn't have a dual mount but I see it on BH, so maybe some information is getting lost in my inquiry. . I know it's possible because it's on TV lol.

Did you try this one? I've used these clips for a lot of years and they work great plus every major TV station and network I've seen or worked with uses these.

Sennheiser MZQ 22 Double Tie Clip B&H # SE543653 •MFR # MZQ222

B&H has them at 15.95 each

Re: What lapel is this...

I agree it looks like two sanken cos11's in a dual cable anchoring clip.

You can also get dual clips of the sony ECM77 which is what we use as std cabled lav mics at SKY in the UK with sennheiser MKE2 gold on our radio mics.
