Wireless mic for Sony UTX-B1
I am looking for a lavalier mic for my Sony Wireless UTX-B1 transmitter. Will the Sony ECM44BMP work with this unit? How does it compare to the stock microphone. The reason I ask is that I have two wireless sets and would like to find a mic that is a close match to the stock mic that came with the UTX-B1 transmitter.
Thanks Curt |

Did anyone resolve this issue? Any body know what are the proper size clips for a Sony UTX-B1 lapel mic?
It's really hard to figure it out because the clips have no serial number and the manual doesn't have a model number for the clip that comes with the mic. If I find an answer I'll post it, because I'm sure it will come up again.

Theodore, I ended up getting an ECM-77BMP mic (two actually). It is a much better mic than the stock mic. The improvement in sound quality was striking in some basic tests that I did. It is a bit expensive but well worth it in my view.
