Re: Corrupt wav files with Zoom H6
^There's some credence to the write speed issue, cause if it can't keep up, it will throw garbage in that block instead of actual audio data. You should test your card with a performance test in the H6 and if the buffer fills 100% up, you have a bad card. You'll need Version 2.0 firmware and you'll have to perform a full test on the entire card.

Jim, the Sony Pregius sensor line is getting really darn close in terms of performance vs cost. Now to see that tech propagate down to real Sony cameras instead of only being offered as a sensor for third parties.

Mitchell,
Have you tried Audacity and opening the files as Raw? Ty Ford Audio and Video: Audacity - Clunky, But Extremely Helpful! Regards, Ty Ford |

Re: Corrupt wav files with Zoom H6
Ty,
I am totally off topic here. But I would appreciate if you would look at my overly long post about the Zoom H6 I made here: http://www.dvinfo.net/forum/all-thin...-all-good.html I cover a ton of things I learned about the Zoom H6 before I even get to my problem with the device at the bottom of the post. Bottom line is I can not get clean recordings in multi track audio interface mode. I would really appreciate your input on that post as I am aware you have reviewed the H5 extensively. I would really like to use the multi track interface mode but have not been able to do so successfully so far. Kind Regards, Steve

Re: Corrupt wav files with Zoom H6
Hi Ty,
Yes, I did try that. Funny enough opening the files as Raw Data makes them come in as complete static, not interrupted static like before. |
