Sennheiser G3 Wireless - What Band for Continental Travel

I'm thinking about buying a set of G3s. I live in Guatemala but work across Latin America (and less often, in Canada and the US).

Any advice on what band I should be looking for? I have read that G Band (high 500s/low 600s) is a reliably good all-rounder.

From 2010 in the USA, if it operates on frequencies between 698 and 806 MHz, then the device uses 700 MHz spectrum and may not be used.

There is talk of further restrictions in the US:
