Help with voiceover connections
If someone could help! I am having problems with my voiceover work. I have a Shure SM58 mic, MobliePro USB amp. and feeds into my Sony Viao computer. I use a special Software that allows for voiceover's with many audio ranges to choose from. The first minute of the voiceover is fine and then it either speeds up or slows down and you can't even make out the voice. I talked to my software people and they said that the Moblie Pro might be causing problems with the computer to keep the rate or freq.and to try to use the soundcard in the computer instead. I would have to just by a xlr to mini plug I guess to put it into the computer directly.
Any Suggestions? Thank you, Matt |

Have you tried using regular software like Audacity (that's free), SoundForge, Vegas or many others for a test recording?
My first guess would be that it is the "special" software and not the MobilePre, however, do you have the latest drivers installed for the MobilePre for your operating system? Have you talked with the hardware support staff? |

I think that "Special Software" is the issue. Make it simple, make it work, then add extra things like Special Software into the stream.
