Movie Microphones

Hi,

I'm just curious. What kind (brand/model) of microphones do most of your Hollywood films use when filming on set or on location?

You can also search rec.audio.pro

In particular, folks like Glen Trew work on feature films.

Schoeps CMC6 / MK41 and the Sennheiser 416 are popular microphones for feature films. They also sometimes use wireless lavs.
