Zoom H6 vs. Roland R44
I currently use a Zoom H4n, and am looking to upgrade my audio recorder for use in weddings. Can anyone give me a good comparison of these two? I couldn't find much online. The limiter on the Zoom H4n isn't very good. How is it on the H6? Thanks!

Re: Zoom H6 vs. Roland R44
I found some information about the Zoom H6 compressor/limiter settings here.
Since this is from the horse's mouth so to speak, I had asked for permission to post that link here but haven't had a reply either way. |

Re: Zoom H6 vs. Roland R44
I have both Zoom H4 & H6 now. I do like the new dual XLR capsule. The pre amps sound good.
The other nice thing is that I can hang it around my neck & be hands free to monitor levels. I have experience with the Roland R88 & R44, this is a quality unit & will do what you want/need. The R44 may be had for a clearance price as it is older & rather large, like a lunch pail. |
