RME Babyface or Blue Robbie?

I'm looking to get the most out my microphone and these two seem quite highly regarded.

Between the two of them, which has the better preamps and quality? Is the Robbie worth the extra $200?

Thank you for reading. :)

Re: RME Babyface or Blue Robbie?

Jarred, again these are different animals - the Babyface is a portable USB audio interface and the Blue Robbie is a valve (= "tube") mic preamp, so one can't compare them directly. Perhaps if you tell us what exactly you want the gear for we can help.

BTW, there's a good Sound on Sound review for the Babyface if that helps.
