Slightly OT: TV Program 'Mental'
They have just started airing a TV series from 2009 here called 'Mental'
Mental (TV series) - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia It's not a bad program judging from the first episode, but we can hardly make out what the lead actor 'Dr Jack Gallagher' is saying. The part is played by Chris Vance, who is British, so his accent is no problem, but it's like his voice, in particular, is muffled. It's like he is speaking into his hand sort of thing. We are watching on Satellite, but on one of the main channels (TV3) so I wouldn't have thought it was a compression problem, but is bad enough to spoil the program. I'm not really asking a question here, but I'd be interested to hear if anyone remembers the program, and how they found the sound? Our TV is linked to a decent HiFi system btw. The program was made by Fox. Hey, I hope no one is going to say they worked on the program, and that I am in big trouble! ;-)
