M-Audio BX5 troubles
Last year, just before the warranty went out, one of my BX5 monitors went out. It wouldn't do anything but hum. I was able to get an RMA and get it fixed. Now, as of yesterday, my other BX5 has decided to go away. I was sitting in front of my computer when it made a subdued little Bzzz and nothing since - power light is on, but no audio from it, not even a hum. Fuse looks good - so I swapped it with the other speaker's fuse. Nothing. Anyone else experiencing trouble with their BX5s or any other M-Audio monitors? Anyone have any suggestions?
I am currently in Stage Four Renal Failure and have too many medical bills to be buying more equipment. I'm really disappointed with M-Audio. All input is appreciated, Bill Beasley Corpus Christi, Texas

I would call and talk to them in light of the fact that the other speaker already failed on you and was repaired under warranty.

Thanks Bob,
Sorry about the slow response. I had to evacuate for hurricane Rita, but back home now. Almost back to normal. Bill Beasley
