Hi John,

I've actually got the mics that I'm going to use. I was able to find a guy locally selling a Rode NT2-A who was willing to sell it for a pretty good price. I also have a pair of Rode cardioids that I'm testing out too.

I've heard of the counterfeit mics but haven't had the bad fortune to run into one so far.
