Conforming 7d External Audio to Neoscene?

I have read that Neoscene conforms the .mov files from the Canon 7d from 30 fps to 29.97 fps. Obviously this will create some synch issues when using external sound with a Tascam or a Zoom or a (fill in the blank here)
Is there a straight forward workaround for this?

I think that information was regarding the 30.00 fps video from the original 5D2. With the Canon 5D2 firmware upgrade, all of the Canon DSLRs shoot 29.97 fps, so Cineform no longer re-conforms or causes sync issues.
