Help!!! Which Speakers are good for surround Mixing?
Say guys. I'm gonna be using Pro Logic to mix audio soon. I've got 2 nice Event PS5 Biamp speakers. To mix surround what should i add to this? 2 more ps5's and some base speaker? Not sure about differences with 5.1, 6.1, 7.1.
Suggestions please!! Thanks. |

Matched speakers is way to go. 3 more plus a bass for 5.1. I have seen 6.1 and 7.1 in the stereo stores, but 5.1 seems to be the only mixing choice worth considering. Usually someone with a 6.1 or 7.1 system can synthesize it out of 5.1 signal.
