how to find Classic Soft Knee in Adobe Audition (Mac)?
Hi there,
I just got Adobe Audition CS5.5 so I can record some voiceover. (I'm on a Mac Pro, Snow Leopard). I've recorded some voiceover, and would now like to apply the 'Classic Soft Knee' effect. According to some advice I read on the web, someone says: "Import any audio into Audition, then under the Amplify Tool click ‘Normalise’, then under Amplify click ‘Dynamic Processes’ and from the drop down select ‘Classic Soft Knee'". But I don't see how to do this. For starters, I don't see an "Amplify Tool". Would someone who knows the Mac version of Adobe Audition mind advising me? (I tried to post this question on the Adobe Audition forum, but for the life of me, I don't see how to post a question there). Regards, Malcolm |

You can find a help file on this here: Adobe Audition 3.0
I'm assuming the 5.5 version will be the same, this is how 3.0 works with this filter.....it is a VST plugin... |

thank you Battle. Might that be a Mac plugin, do you know? (I googled it, but didn't come up with anything obvious).
