DIY boom pole case

Hi all. Just thought I'd share this cheap and solid boom pole case I made yesterday. 2" PVC pipe, an end cap, and the threaded cap cost me about $7. I already had the glue to assemble it all. The leather strap came from an old laptop bag which was falling apart, and is held on with a good bit of duct tape. I put some foam pieces in both ends, and my Gitzo pole fits snugly inside (in its bag) and doesn't rattle around at all. Cheers!
