Sony DWT-B01 Digital (CH 30/40)
When I originally purchased my Sony camera setup, I went with the integrated DWR-S01D dual slot-in receiver & the DWT-B01 transmitter - (channels 30/40). I recently went to buy a second B01 (ch 30/40) transmitter only to find that this model has been discontinued, and replaced by the DWTB01/E3040. Does anyone know what the difference is between the original 30/40 body pack, and the new E version?
Thanks in advance, Art |

Re: Sony DWT-B01 Digital (CH 30/40)
Incase anyone was interested in the difference between the original DWT-B01 and the new "E" version, according to Sony's representative:
"The new DWX series digital wireless bodypack transmitter models with extended battery life and new network remote control features. Battery life is extended from 3.5 hours to 5 hours using two AA Alkaline batteries with a 10mW power setting. New networking features include the ability of the transmitter to be controlled in a multichannel wireless system when used in conjunction with the DWR-R01D digital wireless receiver." Thought some might like to know. Art |
