rumbling bass
hello all.
This is my first port in audio section....i'll tell you that I'm total newby and normally i never play with audio mre than lower or rase levels..I have some understand of it but very minimal. I've done this before and never had this issue...but this time is different and I'm wondering how to avoid it. I all mp3 songs...open in quicktime an exported as aif so i'll have no rendering in timeline I watch my levels and try to keep it green and sometimes a bit into the yellow ( sorry my lack of terms) Now watching on my DVD player to TV..the bass rumbles so freacking much that its discusting.. If I play it through my recever and cool speakers..no problem...yes,, bass is low no no rumble. Why? I'm lowerings lever some more to see if this will fix it... read about using High pass filter...but don't know how to use this so i'll have to learn first. Can someone explain and help me with this.. thanks so much....

Re: rumbling bass
As long as you are not exceeding 0dBFS, level would have little to do with it. Post a segment of the audio on-line to get an accurate assessment.
