A flashlight... but it has a magnet on it so it sticks to your car!
Trail mix... and not the kind with the gross dried pineapple bits. Two delicious meals!

Canon 6X HD lens for the XL-H1A and a SmallHD DP6 HD monitor. Was hoping for a 36 inch plotter. Maybe next year...

Q: What do you buy for the man who has everything? A: Antibiotics Ba-dum ... ting! ;-) (thanks, I'll be here all year) Andrew |

Santa bought us a bigger debt.
Me and the wife didn't buy gifts for us this year, only our little girl. As our XMAS gift to each other this year was a new a house. =) |

AG-HMC150, and time off
An AG-HMC150, my first real video camera. Then I slipped on the ice, fell and broke my right arm. It will be 6-8 weeks before I can hold it again. Well that will give me time to research what microphones, tripod, head, & lights to buy. I have not been involved in video for over 30 years (switched to IT) so this is all new and exciting.

That's terrible Tom! Well now you can read the manual and practice adjusting things. You should look into the "Superstar" mic I reviewed in the next thread over. It could be the all in one solution everybody's looking for.

Antibiotics cure infections, some of which you can pick up from "paid company".

A nice Christmas gift for gratis ...
Noticed in an email from Boris FX that if you go to their Facebook page and "like" them before Dec 31, they will update your Facebook page with a link to a free copy of the Boris Continuum Glitters Unit on January 3rd.
Facebook page for Boris is at Boris FX | Facebook Hey ... it's a freebie! :-) (you can thank me later) Andrew |

I know that Australia is ahead of the USA in actual date/time, but we're not that far ahead. :-)
I still have to wait until the 3rd of January 2011 to receive the link to the downloadable freebie. Andrew |

There was indeed a "status update" with the link. Got my downloaded filter install package and feeling good.
