Hissing or sibilant sss's

Working in Premiere my v/o track sounds fine. When I output to VHS or DVD, the v/o is sibilant -- anything with 's' has a hiss to it.

Any ideas how to prevent this, or what settings might be involved?

I use Matrox RT2500.

thanks...

Radical EQ shifts like that are usually the result of impedance mistmatches. Perhaps your outgoing audio is not appreciated by whatever you have it plugged into.
