In sync ?
Just wondered what everyone else does when using external flat screen devices for playback during editing and viewing - My larger Samsung screen has a processing delay of 140msec - considerable indeed, nearly 6 frames in PAL land, which I compensate for with an optical audio delay unit, removed from the audio chain whilst working on my real glass HD monitor during grading and delicate syncing work as this of course, presents no visual delay to speak of.
My Samsung boasts 5ms response time - nothing to do with the processing period needed to present the image in the first place of course. Paul

try turning off all the picture processing in the monitor, esp noise reduction and anything that messes with the frame rate like auto 3:2 PD
are you using a video I/O to output video, because they usually have a frame or two of delay |
