stereo mic ambient recording, opinion about mkh 418
i own a sennheiser mkh 416 and a mkh 40, I have to do some stereo ambient recording,
was thinking to buy a mkh 418 , but i wonder if i can use my mics to obtain same result? Last edited by David Aliperti; June 21st, 2010 at 02:39 AM. |

That will give you far higher quality than the MKH 418-S - and more flexibility as well. I have the MKH 30/40 combination and it has given me excellent results over the years.

I also have a special In-Vision mount and a Softie mount. The In-Vision is used with a pair of the Rycote back-to-back clips.
