Sony ECM-MS5 Condenser Mic in need of repair... at DVinfo.net

I have a Sony ECM-MS5 stereo condenser mic that has been in storage for a few years.

I got it out a week ago and have been trying to record with it, but I'm getting intermittent crackling like interference. I've tested it with a couple different devices and I get the same thing, so it's gotta be the mic.

Can anyone reccomend a reputable repair center I can send it to? I think if I sent it to sony I wouldn't see it again for months, and I'm not sure I trust the couple shops in town that would work on it.
