Shotgun mic recommendations under 500
Would anybody mind recommending the best buy for a shotgun under $500? The mic would be used as a boom to record dialogue and connected to a portable audio recording drive. Thanks for any help.

If you can go $500 I'd seriously consider pushing your budget and getting the Rode NTG-3. It's a great sounding mic for the price and it will be part of your kit long after you've changed cameras several times.
You might also look for a use Sennheiser MKH-416. -Garrett |
