H2 card issues
Hello there everybody!
I have been using my H2 for about a year or two. Recently, it had an issue moving files to my computer. Even though I cleared off the memory card, the H2 claimes that the card is full. I accessed the card using my computer and the H2 and both indicate that the card is empty-but it still refuses to record since "the memory card is full'. I swapped out the memory card and it's working fine now. My question: Did using the computer to delete the files over and over again over the past two years lead to the card dying? Is two years a good lifespan for a card? Would it be better for the media if I went into the H2 menu and deleated the files? Thanks all! William

I have had no issues. Have you tried reformatting the card?
Two years?.. I don't know, but I have CF cards for my other recorder, that are 5+ years old with lots of record/delete cycles, one of which (a 4GB Sandisk ultra) went though a wash, rinse, spin cycle and still works. I reformat cards occasionally depending on usage. |

The reformat worked like a charm. Thank you Rick!
