boom to mic mismatch
Just bought a K-Tech 110cc boom for my mic. (beautiful boom btw)
problem is that the male threaded stud on the end is much smaller than the female side of either the mic or mic holder. The mic is an Oktava mk012a and the holder is a Sabra ssm 1. Neither seem terribly exotic so i am hoping there is an easy solution... thanks in advance

There are available threaded adaptors that would screw into your mount. My Sennheiser ME66 kit shipped with one - I'm sure they would be available from your local audio support/musical instrument store.

I believe the shock mount you bought is for a mic stand not a boom pole. But this adapter should do the trick. Location Sound Corp: Pro Audio's Resource for the Sale/Rent of Sound Equipment. -- KM217 Thread Adapter - 3/8" Female to 5/8" Male
