DVC30 - How to get around annoying headphone sounds (hisses/noise) using line out?
Hello!
My DVC-30 shows some very annoying background-noises using the headphone output. I am currently trying to find out, if this would justify a case of warranty... any first-hand experiences with the DVC30 are welcome! The question is: Would I be able to use the AV/Line output of the DVC-30 to plug in headphones... I would guess, that I need an external amplifier for the headphones, do I need any other adapter, or could I just be plugging everything together using mini-plugs... Thanks a lot! Matthias Zimmermann

i don't have any experience with the unit, but you shouldn't be getting heavy noise through your headphone jack. i'm sure you've done this already, but you should check your headphones as well. if that's not the problem and the machine is still under warranty, i would definitely get it checked out.
regarding using the line-out of the deck for your headphones, you're correct that an amplifier of some sort would be necessary to control output levels. minijacks are fine. |
