How about a Dat?

Anyone know of a good way to start a double system production for DV?
--who can recommend a recording device, say two channels in. I think I've got a slate around here somewhere--marker and action.

There are a variety of solid-state memory and hard-drive based recorders available. DAT is dying. Some would say dead, but it became wide spread enough that it will still be hanging on a little while. There aren't any new ones being made IIRC.
