AT-897 compatible with Senny wireless?
Just like the thread title says...would an AT-897 shotgun be compatible with the SKP500G2 plug-in wireless transmitter? I'm having to skimp on microphones right now, and I have good experiences using the AT-897 as a handheld mic, so I'm wondering if I can bypass cabling...

Yup, it will work great. One small trick we employ on the 897 as a handheld (it's a good handheld mic) is to use a rubber handlebar grip from a bike shop. I prefer the foamy rubber ones vs the all-rubber with the "fins" on it if that makes any sense. Looks good, cuts down handling noise significantly.
