Can anybody help me with this one?

I'm in sound design on a documentary I'm doing and we're looking for a particular sound or a sound that can be made to sound like a particular sound:

It's the sound made when the football or baseball field lights turn on before a big game...you know, the dramatic light turned on sound.

Anyone know where I could find this or what would be a search term? Whats this called?

You mean a throw switch? The sound of a great big circuit switch that sort of has a "sssnaCK-pop-BOOM" sound to it?
Sony's library has a GREAT version of this, both with and without reverb.
