Does anyone know if the Marantz pmd-670 has a built in limiter?
I tried seaching some of the sights but it seemed a little vague. Also, is the limiter as good as the Sound Devices Mixpre? Thanks!

Yes, the PMD670 has a built in limiter.
The Mix Pre amd the PMD670 are about the same price. The PMD670 is a flash recorder with a mixer builtin. The Mix Pre is a high quality mixer. I own a PMD670 and there is an audible difference between the PMD670 pre and the mix pre. If I have the time and the room, I use a Sound devices preamp input into the PMD670.
