Urgent Please! Which Rycote for my AT897

Hi all,

I'm doing an order to B&H in the next hour or so which needs to be sent to my girlfriend in Washington. I'm ordering an AT897 after it was recommended by a few people on this forum but which Rycote Mini Windjammer do I use? Theres about 10 different ones on B&H & I dont know which one will fit. If anyone can give the direct link to the right one it'd be much appreciated!!

Thanks!!

B&H opens at 9:00 AM. Call them and ask for pro audio. They can help you.

Since I don't know which Rycote you want go to the Rycote site and enter your mic model.
http://www.rycote.com/

I think you need Rycote model #033042.

ok so you recommend the windjammer 190 but on the accessories list for this mic on B&H it says the special 155 fits on it & i've just done a quick search on this forum & it said special 155 again...
anyone know for sure? i'm thinking of the special 155 is the one....

While they will all fit, the Special 130 has the best fit.

If you're talking that fits over the top 2/3rds of the mic, then I have the one that has 21/22 imprinted on the bottom and it fits brilliantly. There's no model number to speak of.

Jonathan,
You have the Softie, however James is talking about the Mini Windjammer.
