When the site is back up , go to www.rycote.com. Do you have the 4073? If so measure the included foam windscreen, the windjammer is designrd to fit over that piece.

The softie would be your best choice.

The problem is: I´ll buy the at4073a too, so, I can´t measure the foam.

Gustavo:

The wind jammers for the 4073A and the AT 897 are identical (according to BH). I have both and would tend to agree. At www.bhphotovideo.com you can see the demension and model number of the rycote mini wind jammer for the 897 and just purchase that one as it will also fit the 4073a.

James, I didn´t see any reference to 897. Do you remember the dimensions of the ones you have?

It's a 'special 190" and the Rycote site is still down....... The rycote site gives an excellent cross reference to all mic accessories.

I don't own a 4073 , yet i was able to come up with the correct size by using the search function.

I hope my response isn't too late for you. I cannot find the packaging anywhere and can't figure out the size of it. And, to be honest, since I am using one for both the 897 and the 4073a I think you might be better off calling BH and asking one of the reps for the correct model number.

I've already given the correct size yet for some reason no one wants to believe me. The special 190 fits over the foam and is up to 5 cm in diameter (2") and 19 centimeters long (7.5") it's $55 in Canada so it should be $35 to $40 in the US

"gee thanks Beas"
"oh you're more than welcome Gustavo"

I am sheepishly sorry Bryan, I hadn't noticed in my haste to respond.

Thank you for providing the answer.
