stock music
im new to the whole video world, like it alot but purely as hobby.
Being a novice i have a constant problem with backgroud music for my family trip/vacation/event videos - dont have enuf material to match/fill the fotage. I always scarmble for it, scout the net, try to get sum from music sharing sites. Im sure its just pains of growth but i get really frustrated at times. Anyhow my question is what could you guys recommend in terms of good stock music i could get (buy) - most likely i need all kinda styles from calssic, country, lite jazz to heavy metal (?). And preferably instrumental. I really appreciate your replies thanx ms |

When you're doing stuff for your family, use music that they relate to. Use their favourites, it's much more effective, amotional and brings back memories. Whatever was on the tape/CD on that last car trip, etc.

Gale,
thanks, that site's great.. wow.. real treasure ) i hope i wont break any laws for using it in my home videos Evan, I did think bout that but in my disfunctional family it sure wont work, cuz it'll sound weird blasting J_Zee in the background while slowly panning over pastoral New England's fall landscapes ). So.. anyway, thanx guy |
